Yes, I said that. Stop praying for your husband to be blessed only. A lot of wives have prayed their husband's into wealth and out of Godliness. When your prayer is focused on material wealth the spirit of materialism and worldliness such as flirtation, unfaithfulness, uncaring attitude and recklessness will be unleashed and the man is most likely to become very carnal, very materialistic and greedy. When all you pray for your husband is to be blessed this is what happens: your husband is likely going to throw himself into money making which indirectly will impact on His relationship with God, his life style and his relationship with you.

'Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world — the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life — is not from the Father but from the world - 1 John 2:15 -16. A lot of you may relate to this as this resonates in many homes today. There are many homes where there is good wealth, the man can give the woman whatever she desires but she does not enjoy the presence and commitment of the man. Of what use is it that your man gives you all but himself? His money and wealth belongs to you but his heart belongs to his business, wealth and strange women. Yes, he is materially blessed but he is spiritually bankrupt and unable to offer you his affection and love. You have been praying wrongly and your perspective is wrong. Change your perspective today. Stop asking God for blessing whenever you hit the floor to pray, rather pray and say, give me the power to seek your kingdom. When you genuinely do, all the blessings and wealth will be at your beck and beckon!

May I recommend rather that you START PRAYING THAT YOUR HUSBAND BECOMES CHRIST-LIKE - selfless, loving like Christ, caring like Christ, forgiving like Christ and giving like Christ. When you pray him into oneness with Christ the fulness of the Godhead is reposed in him. All the blessings of God follows him automatically: wealth, good health, goodwill, prosperity, fame etc. When you start praying aright things may begin to look out of joint. You may begin to notice more negative things in your relationship. But quit forcusing on those negatives. God is flagging them up because He wants to deal with them. So that when your home is delivered you will be able to give thanksgiving in perspective. God will give you a better perspective today in Jesus name. Focus on the amazing things God is about to do in you, through you for you and your husband.

If you continue the way you are praying the danger is that your husband may come into sudden blessing unprepared, unprocessed and unbroken. The result will be pain, abandonment, frustration, trauncy and he starts hanging around deceiptive women and men. In such condition lust, pride, and fleshy recklessness will kick in then your anguish will be magnified. But that is not the mind of God concerning you. All the blessings and successes you dream about for yourself and husband are all hidden in Christ - Proverbs 13:22

Pray your husband to be become a Jesus man; uncompromisingly righteous and all his desires and intentions  pure and righteous. That is the true blessing right there. Get his eyes on Jesus and Jesus will release the hidden treasures and secret riches of the earth such that has never been handled by any other to your husband -"I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars. "I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden wealth of secret places, So that you may know that it is I, The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.…Isaiah 45:2-3

Today stop praying: Lord, bless my husband / wife; rather pray God to quicken your spouse to die to himself or herself and alive in christ and you will watch your home flourish and blossom. I pray that God changes your perspective. I pray that your desire for your husband or wife will be for them to manifest God's glory and His kingdom.
